This can affect your life more than you know and you might not even know you have it until it is too late. I will talk about my experiences, the knowledge that is out there and how I am dealing with this syndrome.

Kicking the Carb Addiction- Part 2

So I went to the Nutrisystem website and I have to say that I am afraid to do it. I am afraid that I would not like the food and that I would have wasted $250 plus dollars for a month of food. I have to say that the price for a month of prepared food is not so bad being that it is a weight loss program. I would like for them to offer samples of their food, but I don't see anything on their website for it. I guess its back to just doing it for myself- I guess.

I am not one of those people who can go low carb. If anything, low carb may not be the answer for some people! I've tried it and was sluggish and tired all of the time. It seems that I am better off with carbs that are complex and whole grain. The fiber in whole grains also helps insulin resistance also I've heard. It slows the digestion of food therefore keeping insulin spikes in check.

It makes life easier.
